How often should I update my will in Portland?

Look over your will every ten years and anytime you have a major life change.

 Life changes include:
• Marriage
• Divorce
• Death of someone names in the will
• Birth or adoption of a child

You may not have to update your will if the original language covers the situation. But it’s not uncommon for relationships and intent to change over time.
